width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Women &amp; Global Security Architecture (WGSA) is pleased to announce the launch of a new research project titled \u201cFrom Policy to Practice: Integrating the Women, Peace and Security Agenda into Armenia\u2019s Defense and Security Reforms: Oversight, Accountability and Effective Security.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This research initiative aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">assess how WPS principles are being incorporated into Armenia\u2019s ongoing defense reforms,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evaluate the effectiveness of existing oversight and accountability mechanisms, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">provide practical, evidence-based policy recommendations to support a more inclusive, professional, and resilient defence architecture.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is implemented with the financial support of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia (accredited to Armenia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The research will be published in Armenian and English and will be available in mid-February 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this initiative, WGSA continues its mission to strengthen democratic governance of the security sector, advance gender-responsive reforms, and promote meaningful participation of women in Armenia\u2019s defence and security institutions.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div id=\"carousel-323\"
