WGSA in Action
Whole-of-society consultations | Announcement
Within the framework of the “Comprehensive Security and Resilience” project, the “Women and Global Security Architecture” (WGSA) think tank is organizing whole-of-society consultations from July 1 to 25, 2026, with military-sports organizations, analytical centers/NGOs specialized in security issues, defense industry companies, and cybersecurity experts.
Consultation Schedule and Venue:
All meetings will take place at the WGSA Office located at Myasnikyan Ave., 1/6 Building (Kentron administrative district), according to the following schedule:
- July 1 – 4: Military-sports organizations,
- July 6 – 11: Analytical centers and NGOs specialized in security issues,
- July 13 – 18: Defense industry companies,
- July 20-25: Cybersecurity experts.
This initiative aims to contribute to the implementation of the Comprehensive Defense and Security Concept (CDSC) and the practical realization of the whole-of-society approach. The objective of these consultations is to map the experience of the aforementioned entities in cooperating with the public sector during crises, to identify existing gaps and coordination challenges, as well as to map their crisis preparedness capabilities.
Based on the outcomes of the consultations, the WGSA think tank will develop a policy paper (a package of recommendations), summarizing and incorporating all observations made by the participants, along with their proposals aimed at addressing the identified issues. These observations and the developed document will also be presented and discussed during the “Comprehensive Security and Resilience” conference, specifically within the panel discussion titled “Whole-of-Society Preparedness.” The document will be disseminated among relevant state bodies, other stakeholders of the whole-of-society approach, and international partners.
